Introduction

Kelly Morton Presided. She introduced the 2026 theme Back to Basics. See write up in newsletter. 

Treasurer Report

Nothing new to report. See presentation for link to report.

Community Outreach Report

Pam gave updates on website changes and spoke about the need for ribbon for taggies. 

Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Children’s tenth floor for extended care and hospice care. 

Suggested quilt sizes are lap and throw, although larger will be accepted. 40x50 to 48x66 suggested range. Bright colors. 

The House Nextdoor is still collecting children’s quilts.

Education Coordinator Report

Raven was not able to attend but sent some exciting Save the dates. 

• Quilting Ergonomics with Rose Parr May 20 - Evening Zoom

• Math to Masterpiece - General Meeting - July 1 - will be recorded and available for 2 weeks after the meeting. 

• Mix & Match Blocks: Designing Together- In-Person Design Workshop with Sweet Potato Quilts - August 1

Programming

Doreen L gave a presentation on book pillows. See above presentation for her notes. Pricilla and Alicia gave a presentation on their trip to Indonesia where they learned to dye batiks.
